Gaia Compost Capital (GAIACC) was born out of a deep-seated commitment to nurturing the land, empowering local communities, and fostering sustainable agricultural practices. Located in the heart of the world, the breath-taking Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta, Colombia, we witness first-hand the challenges that grassroots farmers face: depleted lands, unpredictable climate conditions, and limited access to resources. We believe that these challenges can be transformed into opportunities for growth, sustainability, and resilience. Our mission is to regenerate landscapes while providing economic opportunities and preserving the rich cultural heritage of the region's indigenous communities
GAIACC envisions a future where agricultural landscapes are both productive and regenerative, supporting thriving ecosystems and vibrant communities. We see a world where farmers are equipped with the knowledge and tools to rebuild their lands sustainably, ensuring food security, biodiversity, and resilience against climate change.
Our objectives are multifaceted and centered around holistic growth:
Our team have all worked or lived in the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta in Colombia for many years. Our collective experiences have led us on a path of discovery and enlightenment, and also to a deep understanding of the problems and frustrations facing many local farmers and indigenous groups, we believe that by bringing opportunity, finance and education together we can assist the local populations to create a harmonious regenerative solution with nature for the benefit of all.
